We are currently celebrating Kadayawan in Davao this whole week. Since it's holiday for sure a lot of people from different places will flock the city to witness the Bountiful harvest and of course to showcase the awesomeness of the participants for the Street Dancing Competition. I myself went there but I was not able to watch the Street dancing competition. But it was never too late for us to take photos of the city.

Today, I and my nephew walk the long-distance from the city's central part for the occasion which we gladly made our way to the crowd. There are still a lot of people even though the street dancing was over they are still there to take pictures.

This is my nephew Basty.

After taking pictures, we went to one of the malls here in Davao to eat because we are kinda starving. We ate some siomai and some iced tea. We both feel exhausted after the walk. Then my nephew want's to take pictures of him beside a giant Durian.

We haven't got to the place where floats are displayed because the nephew wants to go home after buying him his toys.

So we went home right away.

Kadayawan is celebrated during the month of August. It's a long holiday here in Davao. One of the highlights is Mutya ng Kadayawan, Street Dancing Competition, and Floral Float Parade. Also, they are actors and actresses are going to have their own shows in different places here in Davao. Parties are everywhere, bars will be full as well as those hotels here.
